Regaining Menstrual Cycle With Weight Loss
Thursday, July 14, 2011
If you follow some of my post I have made in the past, I've mentioned that I would take progesterone in order for my menstrual cycle to come down. With out me taking it my period will not come down for at least four months and counting.
However, over the past few days I noticed my breast were really tender. Of course since I never really have a period naturally, I thought nothing of it. As of yesterday I can happily say that my period came down. Even though I'm currently 20 days late from my previous menstrual cycle, I'm just happy it came at all. Today I am on the second day of my period. Normally if my period ever came naturally, it would appear as dark dry blood when I wipe. My period would never advance to actually seeing blood, truthfully I wouldn't even need a pad. Currently I have a nice flow and cramps happening right now, so I would defiantly say this is a successful "Natural" period.
The only thing I have done differently from before is weight loss. I am still very persistent in losing weight, not to look good in a bikini (although that would be a plus) but to get my health in order. I want to be just like any other woman. I want to be able to have children like other women and in order to do that I must have a menstrual cycle like other women and ovulate like other women. I am 29 years old and needless to say I am not getting any younger. So I am determined to make something happen sometime soon. I have a doctor appointment on the 20th of this month. I found out the results of my HSG exam through my medical doctor, and thank God I have no problems Internally with my ovaries, fallopian tubes and no cyst either. All I can do at this point is just cross my fingers, get all the medication I need and hopefully I will be pregnant soon.- Smile.

Saturday, April 9, 2011
Did you ever watch American Idol's 5th season ? Well If you have, then you would have met Mandisa. A beautiful woman with an even more talented voice. She came to American idol in the Hopes to "Make it " and this was her ordeal.
And This is Mandisa Now
After losing over 90 pounds with diet and exercise. She said she now eats more whole grains, fruits and veggies.
She did not use a specific diet program, she begin to watch what she eats, makes better choices and most of all ... she prayed. Anytime she felt like she wanted to stop she prayed and got inspiration to help her keep going. Congradulation Mandisa, I'm so happy that you didn't let terrible comments from an English Jerk, stop you from reaching all of your goals.

Aretha's claim to fame are songs like :
- Respect
- I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Loved You)
- Falling Out of Love
- Chain Of Fools
Even though the actual amount of weight she was in the past and what she is currently are unknown. Doctors are determining that Aretha has lost upwards to 85 pounds and currently wears a size 16.
Allegedly it is rumored that Aretha lost the weight by having weight loss surgery. While being Interviewed by Wendy Williams Aretha mentioned she no longer eats junk food, practice portion size and walking 30 minutes 3-4 times a week.
Congratulations on your weight loss Aretha, and keep up the good work.
Weight Loss Inspiration - Sara Rue
Friday, March 18, 2011
Do you remember her ? She worked on many different TV sitcoms and movies such as Two and a Half Men, East-wick and Pearl Harbor. More recently she also was the Jenny Craig spokes woman. On Jenny Craig is where she first started her weight loss journey. By following the Jenny Craig plan of eating the pre-assigned Jenny Craig meals and exercise, so far she has lost 40 pounds. And as of right now Sara has lost a total of 50 pounds, which is wonderful.
I'm also happy to say that she is now the host of a brand new show called "Shedding For The Wedding" Which of course is another weight loss show for plus size people. This show comes on the CW network, people are saying it's no "Biggest Loser" but it has promise. Sara currently have her very own weight loss blog on the Jenny Craig website. Weight Loss Inspiration
Monday, March 14, 2011
Once in a while everyone can use a little inspiration. And I love to see success stories about people's weight loss. Therefor I encourage others men and women to go ahead and share their story of success. By sharing your story with others, you can inspire someone to continue with their weight loss goal. Hopefully, like I do to all those that read www.pcosdiaries.com
Monique said that She has changed her eating habits slowly, over a period of time. Her daily routine starts with cutting out junk food. Instead of reaching for cakes, cookies and potato chips, she stocked her fridge with healthier snacks. Monique no longer eats Red meat and fried foods, she has replaced it with fresh fish and salads. She drinks a lot of water through out the day. With the addition of her trainer, she has also maintained a steady gym routine.
The last update I see about Monique, is that she lost over 40 pounds. And If I know her she is probably going to continue her weight loss process or at least maintain the weight she is now. Not all of us can do things exactly how she did it, but I'm sure if we keep going, we can have the same results or even better.
